Ships

Five classes visit your port. Each needs a pad its size, pays a landing fee, offers the cargo in its hold and asks for a few goods of the kinds it trades in.

Arrivals / day is the base rate for the whole region. Your port gets its share of that traffic, set by your reputation, and the rate rises with port level (×1, ×1.1, ×1.25, ×1.4, ×1.6, ×1.8 at levels 1 to 6).

Asks and bids are against the exchange price: a Light Hauler offers its cargo at the exchange price −7% to +13% and bids for what it buys at −13% to +7%. Goods that need a special pad trade with a +20% edge in your favour.

Goods asked for: each visit a ship asks for that many of the goods it buys, never one it already carries, and only as much as fits its free hold. See Trade demand for the odds per good.
